I thought for sure some parent would dress up their kiddo in their Halloween costume for at least a few pics in their fall session......no dice. : ( BUt here is Miss Harley---- the 13 month old of my co-worker Erin! Cutie pie.

From freak show Halloween blog to cute, cuddly newborn Emma. ha ha. CJ has a little lady to call his own now. You may remember this little blonde dude from a spring post of mine [with the promiscuous texting...]. Such a sweetheart. And a flirt. I walked into their house and he was grinning ear to ear. Mom was still getting ready, so I grabbed one of his hardbacks and took a seat. About .2 seconds later, there was CJ...on my lap. Cuddly sweet. Emma on the other hand---eats like there's no tomorrow and has...noises.... as loud as a truck-driver. Funny! I really enjoyed this session...here are some fav's......

Forget the whales....they're fine. Save the WORLD! Kearney's own historic theatre located downtown on the bricks is hosting a haunted house! I'm volunteering---yup! I am a scare-er! I feel the need to say that you would NEVER catch me standing in line for a haunted house or any scary movie. I hate them. Not enjoyable for me whatsoever. Give me a romantic comedy or even a drama---no scary stuff for this chick! Just ask my husband! But helping out is a completely different story. Last night was the first night and I saw it with the lights on. Scary to me, of course, but we were having such a good time getting ready and touring and brainstorming on what's the creepiest ways to scare. : ) Plus it's for a great cause. It's really hard to not show all the creepy behind the scenes pics I took...don't wanna give anything away, now.... ; )

mollie + adam = SNEAKY PEAK

You know how everyone's always saying things like "It's the little things that count?" That is Mollie's personal mantra. I've never seen a person just beaming and grinning and getting excited about the smallest pleasures in life. Adam, too. I enjoy photoraphing these two so much (this isn't the first time, nor the last.... remember them from last Spring?). For instance---Mollie and I talked about how excited we were to get to have a session together again---she had gotten up at 4am yesterday am. Too excited to sleep! That is such a compliment and makes me feel like a little girl on Christmas morning. I love what I do, but it's extra-special people like these that really make the hard work worth it. : ) So..... Guess what, guess what?! Sneak peak for Mollie girl! As semi-promised after dinner last night.... : ) Thanks for being so fun and excited about the little things : )

Yay! Can't believe it's been a couple weeks already that these crazy guys were here visiting! MIss them! All the time. : ) That's why we gotta live it up when we do see eachother. right??
Had a ball taking these pics, of course.... eventhough it was practically a blizzard just hours earlier. Sooo cooold. But I got troopers! Limited breaks and no complaining. Most likely the result of some SOP ahead of time. Worked pretty well actually---we all camped out in front of the fire at Platte Valley Brewery and everyone took their turn. Enjoy!

Justin and Brandi are a couple of our closest friends----and they are expecting a baby [GIRL!] in December! I still can't believe you ran a half marathon in your first trimester, Brandi! You are amazing. Doesn't she have the sweetest little beach ball hidden under her sweater?

Rain, rain...GO AWAY! And I hear snow is to follow.... I fear for cancelled sessions tomorrow.... double boo. It's nice to listen to the rain here in my office...I just don't want plans to be out in it. But I had a suprise when I got home today! After I changed out of my rain-soaked scrub pants, of course, read the mail. I have said it again and again...so what's one more time? I HAVE THE BEST CLIENTS IN THE WORLD! oh...and I ~heart~ Haley and Kyle!

But here's Jessica. Doesn't she have just the most beautiful, sparkly brown eyes you've ever seen? They just shine. We had so much fun...a truely perfect fall day... lots of fun hats and scarves....Mari sunning herself... minimal horse drama. Enjoy!

where'd my fill light go?

If this isn't basking in the sun---I don't know what is! I was shooting this awesome senior a couple weeks ago---it was a beautiful fall day...cool in the shade, though... Jessica was looking lovely in the shade of the overpass and Mari was....eh HEM...suppossed to be my assistant and hold my reflector. I looked over and saw her glowing. Literally. So funny...had to post it. : )

I posted this new template--- thought it may be easier to name the templates after who's in the samples. : ) I think this particular book would look so fabulous with pearl texture and a lavendar eurohyde cover. eh eh?? : )
