chris and tara +1

Meet new baby A! Aiden is so tiny and so wonderful. We are so SO happy for our Omaha bff's for their new addition. Thanks for letting us stay with you--- I can't imagine the stress of a new baby AND out of town guests littering up your house. You guys rock. Enjoy your baby gift! muah. Love ya! We cannot WAIT to watch baby A grow into a beautiful little lady.
Here is Tara's little neice, Ameyla. She had to get in on the action of picture-taking too. Isn't she just the cutest little thing? She is very curious about everything.

carver [omaha senior]

Meet Carver. He reminds me so much of my high school experience. We have the whole band-thing in common. Very sincere and gets along with his mom. I have to give him props--- our photoshoot was only a "thing" on his to-do list. He not only took ACT's, but also had homecoming after. What a busy bee. Hope you had fun takin your girl out! Matching flower and all. ; )

we have...

all of our models that we need for Sunday! Thank you very much for everyone who turned in a kid. It was a very tough choice!

brown eyed girls

How could any adult say 'no' if these little girls asked for candy...a pony... anything?! Aren't they a dream? They are going to drive their mom and daddy crazy with boys. Oh geez. Sorry, Jason. It's a fact. haha And Will is just as handsome. They are all dripping with character--all so different. Childhood facinates me.
Hope you all had a great weekend and enjoyed this awesome weather!
Busy week ahead...

heather and john [in love]

These two love birds are living apart right now... Heather is learning how to teach the smaller variety in Kearney and John is going to be a doctor in Omaha. But when they are together they make it count! It's only one semester. Hang in there. Hopefully these pics will help. : )   I really enjoyed getting to know them and Heather's little sisters came along to help with wardrobe and their little chiwawa.

taylor [omaha session]

Curiosity killed the cat. This is what I get for randomly playing around on blogger. grrr. pretty frustrated today. Looking at the lovely, mod miss Taylor helps though. We had such a crappy day for her session but we made the best of the situation. If I dried my lens once I bet I did it a thousand times! But what a stunner. Seriously.Lori---you made one pretty baby 17 years ago. Hope you had fun at your concert!

technical difficulty

so.... yeah. blog looks different today.... it will look less-schitzo soon. Sorry! haha

burgers big day

The purpose of the blog is to showcase my work in hopes of attracting new clients. normally.
THIS post is definately to show off my big accomplishment rather than advertise...I really struggled with "to post?" or "not to post?" But darn it! Weddings are so much work... hours and hours of sorting, editing.... Main reasons why I choose to say no to dozens of brides. But one lovely summer evening I actually said yes to a bride and groom, whom I know and love. Thank you, Chad and Jes, for trusting me with your day. It was a day filled with grace, excitement, and love and I feel very blessed to have been even a small part of it! From Jes's salon brunch in the morning to cigars on the balcony. And all your tall friends! (Chad played basketball for UNK and at least half the guests were 6'0" and over!) Thank you, Ashly, for your help, Aunt Brenda for letting us take over your beautiful home, and to my Canon 5D Mark ii. I couldn't have done it without you.
