Birds are singing AND I slept with the windows open last night : ) It was perfection.
Off to Omaha today for seminar---and hopefully some good quality time hangin out with other photogs! So excited!!! Have a great day and enjoy this weather! I don't care where you work..... find an excuse to leave. Then find a better excuse NOT to return after lunch. heheheh I won't tell....

What an awesome weekend! Class Act annual auction--got me a pretty new blue bag : ) courtesy of BANG.... food was fabulous and dancing after! Got to see my cousins today---including the handsome new baby Rigs (his newborn session is set for Wednesday!) Cutie pie family tonight and the weather was perfect. So much to do before I leave for Omaha--- still have sessions open if anyone is interested.

Now, onto this guy. Joe. Rocks. Really. A way-cool session. I'm actually kind of glad it snowed last October on his original session date. This time of year is the most relaxing for me to shoot and I feel like I take more time to perfect each shot.

clue hunt

So I have not one single competitive bone in my body. I hate races as much as I hate scary movies. In fact that's why I am a track drop-out. False starting was my nightmare. haha So that's why I volunteered to organize and plan this year's Jaycees clue hunt yesterday. SO SO so much fun. And all the businesses were so stoked to help out! I stumped them on their first clue, however. I think it was an hour before either team called for help on it. First thing was building a toolbox blindfolded. Kicked the girls' butts....

they had to bring back a hat made out of a newspaper, among several other odd ball things. I'm suprised they came up with 2 different designs. haha

I've become a huge fan of pool party. It's not a party, actually---it's the action I've been using to cause the faded awesome vintage color in CS2. It really hides the ugliness of the brown foliage. And of course the old trusty standby that is black and white. But as soon as baby N gets here, it'll be spring! Common water and break already! Newton family is excited for you ; )

So it's Saturday night and what an exciting life I'm leading.... oh well. Makes my week a wee itsy bit less stressful. I can't believe how old Anna is starting to look now. We have so much fun with our neighbor kids. What we would ever do without them?! And in my rockin' Saturday night, I've been playing with some new color editing techniques. Color bump=happy.

These two. So many things to say here. BFF's... beautiful souls... destined to be photographed together...and maybe 2B2gether 4-ever? nudge nudge. Just sayin'. The camera doesn't lie. : )

So here's a love story: Once upon a time on a wonderfully foggy morning we went out to the country. Sydney was looking lovely, and Spencer was feelin' fine. Why wouldn't he?? He got to spend the morning with 4 women bossing him around. Well the shutter went crazy, the sun shown for about 3 seconds, but captured these two just being them. It was heaven, complete with me on cloud 9. Pretty sure the birdies started singing, too, when hands were held. wink wink. view an album featuring this cutie couple HERE.
