geez im bored

Double snowmen I'm BORED! Trapped in Lincoln--- Christmas was cancelled/postponed...no turkey (which means I didn't have to make the turkey, haha...so there is a plus side), no presents, no church. Santa DID come to my house though.... a week early... and parked my present in the garage! Yup! A shiny, black Nissan XTerra is mine all mine. :) NO more squeezing props into my tiny stick shift Honda...yay! And I have a CD player that actually words. Bonus. So I hope you all had a great Christmas--- or just a Christmas to speak of..... But chances are you all live in Nebraska and have been affected by this weather.... so I guess I'll just raise my glass to you for a blizzard toast. *cheers* HEY! That's all there is to do stuck in this snowdrift. Time to shop online and dream about Spring : ) Lata!

WOW! What an awesome weekend! Perfect ratio.... laid-back relaxing:party central. I have shoe scuff marks on my ceiling and a huge box of glass for the recyling to show for it, too. I'm in love with my weekend. Hope yours was just as good. : )

During the laid back relaxing part of my weekend, I decided that now is the time to post new prices for 2010 [check them out HERE], although I am nowhere close to posting any sessions dates/times yet. Expect that to happen early Spring. I've recieved so many inquiries for Spring already... my only advice to those who'd like a Spring/Summer session is to just start watching for the blog post here beginning daily in March. I regret that dates and times will be extrememly limited but just know that I would love to photograph you! It really pains me to have to turn people away. It's just the way it has to be right now...unless anybody know of any land close to town with a perfect out-building for a studio space?? Just checking all my resources.... : ) Keep warm!

freaky fast

Uggh!!! All this snow! Crazy and unbelievable. If it wasn't so cold (duh, Stacy, it's snow) I'd go out and shoot. I have a feeling I'm gonna get a little cabin fever. Clinic closed at noon today and tomorrow. Yup. That's a whole lot of hours to be cooped up! Glad my Christmas shopping is done and our cards are out. Okay, I'm braggin now. lol I still gotta wrap and put the tree up. Guess I have to leave something for tomorrow's list.

So here it is---my last session of the year. The cute little 'W' family.... who own Jimmy John's in Hastings! I could soooo go for a #4 no sprouts right now. + pep for the heck of it. Preston was so stinkin' cute... hated the hat at first, then didn't want to take it off. Guess that's a toddler for ya. Great session to end my crazy year with. Don't worry---I'll still keep up the blog this winter. : )

Bad luck with weather in October=awesome weather in November. Go figure. This family needs to buy a lottery ticket. They had a 65 degree day in mid November! Rock star is what that is!

busted

One perfectly overcast Sunday nearly two weeks ago was the crime scene. I was snap snap snappin away at this amazing family---and all of a sudden...my models (Wendy and Matt) stopped smiling and pointed. Carefully pointed to my left. Confused, I look towards where our cars were parked and there was a man. And not just any man, but one with a yellow vest and a walkey talkey (sp?). That can't be good. Yeah... busted. Again. Too close to the tracks. Okay...ON the tracks. We went quietly to a new spot across the street...but SOO SOO SOOOO worth it!!! hahahahah I am in love with this session. See the rest as a sample gallery! Wendy---can I steal your kids away when you're not looking?? I'm gonna do it anyway. I'll bribe them with delicious milkshakes. ; )


Lainey and Sophie---- Sophie cut her own hair right before our session. : ) She did it right! She USED to have hair passed her shoulders! In the trash now... but as her Mommy said, "That's SO Sophie! That's what she does!" And after meeting her...and seeing her in her full-glory cuteness, I believe it! Such a monkey. I happen to adore her short 'do. Reminds me of me when I was that age....
