A cold cold day, but I got to photograph this sweet family from Franklin. They bundled up their boys (I'm dying over thier hats!) and it literally started snowing right in the middle of our session... but they didn't seem to mind. : )

slow down

Eventhough the weather is turning colder and the leaves have virtually all fallen to the ground, we still seem to have nice days out there! I have to constantly remind myself (even when I'm out shooting) to slow down. Take a deep breath... stop and hear the leaves crunch. Just enjoy things! Life happens so fast. If we don't stop and look around once in a while, we may miss it! Okay--I'm pretty sure Ferris Bueller said that. Gosh I love that movie.

REmember Mandy and Russ form summer? Well they just had a baby girl--- Kinley. Here are her pics at just ten days old! I think she is giving Keaton a run for her money....

GOLD auction

Tonight is the annual Kearney Catholic GOLD auction to benefit the Kearney Catholic High School. Black tie... open bar. : ) But that's besides the point. hahaha

I have a senior session on the silent auction--- so bid on it! Can't wait to see who "wins."

secret space

So one of my other hobbies, besides photography, of course, is hunting for crappy furniture and cleaning it up. This dresser I got from a yard sale where I bought 4 chairs and he threw it in for free! Yay! My husband was a little mad because the garage---my 1/10 of the garage anyways--- is jammed packed full and "leaking" into his "man space" or whatever. But he's gone hunting this week so I started scrubbing away at it. I was cleaning old dead spiders from the drawers and found a secret pocket! Cool, eh?? Bummer it was empty... but still a cool find. i think I'll keep it there for always. Maybe I'll put some cash in it for a rainy day. It's going in the living room that I just painted---another hobby for another blog post. : )

Lookey what I had waiting for me yesterday on my doorstep! : ) Four gallery wraps---which are frameless works of art that don't require a frame. They come in two widths, 1.5" and 2" and just email me at stacyideus@yahoo to inquire about prices. Included is whopping 30x40 of Macey dancing! Jealous of her newly decorated bedroom, too. Sooooo posh. psssst...Kristi, I want to keep it. Or can we share custody?? : ) I am keeping her sis's though! You will see at GOLD if you're goin! And the landscape is the niobrara at sunset for my Dad's Christmas present...... I am confident in sharing that because Dad never looks at my blog, like EVER. I don't even know if he knows it exsists. Anyway.... I get to enjoy the big guy for another 2 hours before they come to pick it up. : )

dates for spring

Believe it or not, I have gotten so many new clients---potential clients, I should say, who are wanting to schedule for spring already. I am not booking for 2010, yet, unless you have a newborn or are basically enrolled in the baby plan already and are due for 6 month pics, etc... That is a timely thing, so we'll work around Mother Nature. The rest of you.... watch this blog for date posts. Hopefully I will know some sort of schedule well enough to have my calendar open by March. Thank you for your patience all! : )

For some reason these images missed their group---- but I love them so, so much they get their own post. If Kole was MY baby---I can bet you a million dollars that I'd have these three images blown up to 20x20's hanging over my fireplace....in a beautiful row. Almost makes me want to have a baby for 2 seconds! Almost----- : ) Can I blow these up anyway for "samples?" haha

Yummy light! Jealous?! AND another new lens. $$$$ my wallet hurts. I promise not to drop this one! I shall always, ALWAYS wear my strap and NEVER leave my tripod unattended. Not only does this new lens weigh about 2 lbs, but cost that many G's! Holy buckets. I should probably buy a vault for it now. Carry that around on top of all my other equipt I haul from A to B.
....don't these girls have the most gorgeous hair?! I'd kill for perfect hair like that. I hate doing my hair more than I hate jell-O.
